PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) The town of Palisade took a vote Tuesday on an ordinance that would allow residences to grow pot for personal use.
The ordinance passed unanimously. Ordinance #2013-04 entitled, "An Ordinance of the Town of Palisade, Colorado, Amending Section 3.13 of the Palisade Land Development Code Concerning the Cultivation of Marijuana in Residential and Non-Residential Zone Districts for Personal Use" will allow an individual to grow up to six plants at a residence.
However, the marijuana is not allowed to be grown outside, it has to be cultivated in a structure.
And if someone under 21 resides in the home or visits a home where pot is being grown, the adults are responsible for keep the plants locked away in a secure location.
