GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)— The pedestrian involved in a possible hit and run early Sunday morning has died from her injuries.

Amber Davidovich, 32, was declared brain dead Sunday, which will be her official date of death according to a state statute, says Kate Porras with the Grand Junction Police Department.

Doctors have been trying to revive Davidovich in the hospital since that time.

She was found hurt at the corner of Main and 9th Streets in Grand Junction around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Witnesses say she was trying to flag down a dark-colored Dodge Dakota at the time. They then heard the pickup drive away and saw Davidovich lying on the ground.

Police are still searching for the driver of the pickup and anyone else with information. If you know anything, call Grand Junction Police at 242-6707, call Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP, send your tip online at www.241stop.com, or text CRIMES to 241STOP with your tip information.
