Public opinion welcome at fairground open houses
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- You can have a say in creating a new vision for the Mesa County Fairgrounds.
As Mesa County continues plans to develop the 90-acre property in Orchard Mesa, county officials asking the community to come out and voice their opinion today.
- What: Fairgrounds open houses
- When: Today- 4 to 7 p.m.; Tomorrow- noon to 2 p.m.
- Where: Community building at Mesa County Fairgrounds
They're hosting an open house later today for residents to help review the draft for the fairgrounds master plan.
If you'd like to join, two meetings will be held: the first today from 4 to 7 p.m., and the second tomorrow from noon until 2 p.m.
The open houses will be held in the community building at the fairgrounds off of Highway 50.
Mesa County organizers invite all residents to come out, ask questions and share their opinions as they work together to create a future for our fairgrounds.
