GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A rollover accident at 12th Street and North Avenue sends one woman to the hospital.
Just after 10 a.m., 19-year-old Marshall Grimsley ran a red light through 12th Street as he was heading eastbound on North Avenue.
When he crossed the intersection, his silver car hit a white Ford SUV that was traveling north, causing the SUV to roll onto its side.
The woman inside the Ford was trapped inside her vehicle, so the Grand Junction Fire Department was called in to extricate her. Emergency crews took her to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Grimsley was cited for running the red light.
