MESA COUNTY, Colo. Orange and blue blanketed the Western Slope Sunday, giving local businesses some extra green thanks to excited customers.

"We've been skiing for a long, long time. To come to see the Broncos win the Super Bowl, this is a special day," said Patty Doss, a Broncos fan who visited Powderhorn Mountain Resort for Super Bowl Sunday.

Many Powderhorn visitors, like Patty and Charlie Doss, dressed up over their ski apparel to show support for their favorite football team.

"It makes it a lot more fun and festive atmosphere," said Dave Smith, marketing director for Powderhorn Mountain Resort. "We've seen it for the past couple of days with people in their Broncos gear getting ready for the big game."

Powderhorn has also seen long lift lines this weekend thanks to 17 inches of fresh snow.

"It has been one of the busiest weekends we have seen this season even through to Christmas holiday, so a lot of pent up demand for the fresh snow," Smith said.

Fly'n Roosters in Grand Junction is also seeing an influx of customers ordering for their Super Bowl snack tables.

The restaurant had 3,000 preorders and they expected to make 20,000 wings Sunday.

"We've been really working on trying to get a lot of preorders because a lot of people live for the Broncos," said Ann Danner, owner of Fly'n Roosters. "It's the first time we've been open that the Broncos have played in the Super Bowl."

Fly'n Roosters can make 500 wings every 15 minutes. Food is available for pick up or delivery.
