GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Phase Three of the Lincoln Park Project is underway, and it's impacting track users and tennis players.

The tennis courts have already been demolished, and are being replaced with four standard courts, four Quick Start youth courts and four pickleball courts starting July 8. Tennis players can still use the courts at Canyon View and Pineridge Parks.

Resurfacing of the track is also set to start July 8 and will be done July 22. The track will be closed during that time.

Officials say other soft and hard paths at Lincoln Park as well as Canyon View, Eagle Rim and Sherwood Parks as well as the Riverfront Trails are open for walkers and runners.
