GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A safe spot for local teens got a fresh new look and the new facility creates what organizers are calling a safe and warm home-like feel.
The House in Grand Junction provides shelter for homeless teens on the Western Slope who have nowhere else to go.
The renovations included a lot of brightening of the interior of the space and a much needed clean up.
Directors from The House say teens who stay at the facilitiy show a very high rate of improving mental health and stability.
They say the project was a big community effort and wouldn't have been possible without the help of several local organizations.
