Veterans hunting trip, Base Camp 40

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) 8 special wounded warriors were honored on Monday, as part of the Wounded Warrior project's "Base Camp 40." The 8 warriors were welcomed to town with a police and Patriot Guard Escort followed by a dinner at the Allen Unique Auto Museum. Then they will leave to go on a week-long camping and hunting trip.

The warriors, who are mostly from out of town, come back to Grand Junction on Saturday, They will be honored during a concert at Mesa Theater that starts at 7:00 p.m.
