(KKCO) - Singer Whitney Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this evening. Her publicist, Kristen Foster, announced the news today. However, she did not say how Houston died. Houston ruled as the queen of pop music until her voice was ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior, and a stormy marriage to singer Bobby Brown.
Houston was one of the world's best-selling artists from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s. Her success crossed over from music to movies, where she starred in hits like "the bodyguard." Houston was 48-years-old.
