Grand Junction, Colo – It is that time of year when temperatures have dipped into the lower twenties and a light snow has touched the red rocks. The Colorado National Monument has put together a hotline so travelers can hear about current road conditions.

The number is 970-858-3617 and the road condition report is updated when the road status changes.

Icy surfaces can persist even when roads are clear on the monument. Bicyclists and drivers should be prepared for slippery conditions and are advised to drive cautiously.
