Woman trapped in truck

Mesa County, Colo. A single vehicle accident shuts down the Eastbound lanes of I-70 Saturday morning, while an elderly woman was trapped in a truck.

Around 11:08 a.m. on I-70 near the Mack exit, a truck was transporting a camping trailer, when it rolled and came to rest on top of a guardrail, blocking the Eastbound lanes of I-70.

The woman in the vehicle became trapped in the truck. It took over two hours to remove the woman from the vehicle, who was later transported to the hospital by Careflight with serious bodily injuries. The other occupant was transported tot he hospital by ambulance.

Officials say speed is a factor, however, the accident is still under investigation.
