Yesterday was the big day for the first Broncos Game. It fell on a Thursday which meant most Grand Valley residents and kids still had to work and go to school. Some workers had tailgate lunch parties to support the game, Fruita Middle School hosted a Broncos day, and daytime workers at Dos Hombres geared up as they pushed through the afternoon. Both workers and students say it was hard to focus through the day, with blue and orange on the brain.
