Young pianists compete at GJSO performance

Four young pianists compete in the Young Artist Finals this Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m.


GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Grand Junction Symphony is having their Young Artist Competition Finals today, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. The competition will take place at the Recital Hall at Moss Performing Arts Center.

This year’s Young Artist Competition is open to piano only. Zoe Lu, Joshua Sawicki, Jiaqi Long and Robert Buxton are competing so that they may get the chance to perform with the GJSO concert during this next season. In addition to performing with the Grand Junction Symphony, the winner will also receive $1,500.
