BB gun shooting outside Chick-fil-A

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) - Grand Junction Police are investigating a bb gun shooting at a busy restaurant Thursday afternoon. Police took several reports that people in an SUV rolled down the window and started shooting at the Chick-fil-A restaurant off highway 6 and 50. The calls came in just before 2 p.m. in the afternoon.

Officers did a high risk felony stop on the SUV after following the car to the area of First Street and White Avenue. Police officials say they found a bb gun inside the vehicle when a search was conducted.

Two of the four people in the car are being detained by police for questioning before charges may be filed.
