Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – It’s not easy to miss Randy Boehmer, who is traveling the country in a covered wagon, pulled by mules. Boehmer says he has been on the road spreading his message for 5 years now.

The inside of his wagon is powered by solar panels that sit on top of the wagon. Boehmer says it’s the journey, and talking to people along the way.

"I talk to thousands and thousands of people every year and it's a slow pace life and it's just totally awesome. It’s not about the destination, it's the journey and this is really cool there's nothing else I would want to do you could offer me all the money in the world, I wouldn't do anything else.” says Boehmer.

He spent his night in Orchard Mesa in the parking lot of The Fender Mender. The shops owner was happy to play host to Boehmer, and laughed, saying the mules ate the weeds growing around his property.

Boehmer is now on his way to California and Oregon continuing to spread his religious message.
