About
the Campaign

Whether
as a patient ourselves or as the loved one of someone
undergoing medical care, we each at one point or another
spend time in a hospital. So it’s nice to know
that through efforts like the Colorado 100k Lives Campaign,
Colorado hospitals are doing all that they can to ensure
the safest and best experience possible.

Providing
safe, quality patient care doesn’t happen automatically.
The 51,000 people who work in Colorado’s hospitals
diligently seek out new methods of care, provide training
and implement healthcare advances all for one simple
reason – patients.

Through
the Colorado 100k Lives Campaign, Colorado hospitals
are implementing six new standards in patient safety
and quality care. From delivering reliable, evidence-based
care to prevent infections and deaths from heart attack,
to deploying rapid response teams at the first sign
of patient decline to helping with better prescription
management, Colorado hospitals are putting safety first.

You
might call it quality service or industry improvement.
In the end, we call it a job well done.
