Grand Junction, Colo (KKCO) --- The Cross Orchard Historic Site hosted a heritage day to bring locals back in time to see what Grand Junction life was like in the 1900's.

Assistant Director, Kay Fiegel, said, "We have got a wonderful and colorful, rich heritage right here in the Grand Valley. Everything from fossils of dinosaurs, up to the present time and so we are celebrating that."

Nearly 500 people show up to explore the different displays that were set up throughout the grounds, including butter churning, blacksmithing, and gold panning.
