Denver (AP) -- A Colorado man who got a visit from police after a
pizza delivery driver smelled marijuana at his home is getting free
pizza from a rival restaurant. Frederick Smith says police searched his home in Aurora after a Papa John's International Inc. driver smelled marijuana there last week. The driver reported a child was in the home at the time. Smith told Denver TV station KUSA-TV that he's a registered medical marijuana user. Papa John's has said it stands by its employee. One of its Denver-based rivals, Sexy Pizza, said Thursday that it would give smith one free pizza monthly until Colorado voters decide a proposed 2012 ballot initiative that would legalize marijuana for recreational use. Sexy Pizza says it'll extend the offer for life if voters pass the initiative.

Kudos to the delivery guy! You did the right thing!

They call it sexy pizza because it has a special sauce that the cook personally puts on each pizza at the climax of the cooking process.

Folks, it's time to wake up. Prohibition does not work. We all know this but we've been so conditioned to believe that chemically altering your consciousness (or the desire to) is "evil" that we can no longer see the forest for the trees (or pot plants). See what our drug cops are saying:

I commend this young man for doing the right thing. If it's just some doper toking and eating some pizza, then I guess that's one thing. But there was a child or children in the house. Don't smoke your dope around your kids. Or your cigarettes for that matter. Or drink booze either. All bad news and a bad example to the kids. As for Sexy Pizza giving a free pizza every month to the doper, somehow mixing the word sex with a food item, sounds kinda gross. I hope they wash their hands before the make the pizza.

If marjuana is being used for medical reasons I do not object to that. However I do object to it being used for recreational use. People do not need marijuana to do it for recreational use.Using it for recreational use needs to be banned completly and it needs to remain an illegal substance when it comes to using it just to get high off of. But using it for medical reasons I can understand. But that should be considered differently than using it to be a junky. There is a huge difference here.

It should be illegal to smoke anything around children; not that there was any evidence he smoked in front of the child. Cigarettes are extremely dangerous but there is not enough lobbying to make them illegal. If you are going to smoke, do not do it around the children. Pa pa pa please! Thank you very much. :)

So long Papa John's!!! Maybe home delivery of ANY kind! NO ONE wants to invite Big Brother into their home in this day and age whereby they can seize (read: PROFIT) off of whatever "crime" they want to charge you with!!! If this is considered "O-K" behavior in this world today... what's next? Sadly... walls are goin' up, tones of voice have switched to whispers, cupboards are bein' stalked and people are lookin' over their shoulders. Time to re-read 1984 or perhaps Brave New World folks.

Who said he was using it around the kids. The snitch just said he smelled it. This society is so concerned about everyone elses buisness and should just mind their own.

That's telling them Anonymouse. I'll keep that in mind next time I see children sitting in the car while the parents are in the store buying booze. What qualifies you to make medical decisions for others you know nothing about?

Just another pothead using in front of children. Total selfishness and disregard for anyone else but themselves. I would be willing to bet that these individcuals have no reason to be issued a medical card either.
