Many brides have been waiting for today, one of the most highly anticipated wedding dates of the year: 12/12/12.
Even though today's iconic date falls on a Wednesday, David's Bridal estimates more than 7,500 American brides will get married today.
Dec. 12, 2012 also marks the last triple number sequence of the century.
Last year's big date was 11/11/11 and, according to David's Bridal, 5,700 American couples got married that day, which was a Friday.
