Boston (AP) Authorities in Boston say a lightning strike has injured 10 people who were taking shelter under a tree after a thunderstorm broke out at a soccer game.
Boston EMS officials say the victims were taken to various hospitals after yesterday's incident. Some of the victims were as young as 13, and each had burns consistent with a lightning strike.
Everyone is expected to survive.
An EMS deputy supervisor says he can't remember 10 people ever being struck by lightning at once.
One witness describes watching the victims falling “like bricks.”
