RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- A third motorcycle fatality is being reported at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in western South Dakota.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says the victim lost control of the bike on a sharp turn on Highway 14A about four miles west of Lead Monday afternoon. A passenger was injured and flown to a Rapid City hospital.

Both people were from Colorado. Authorities did not immediately identify them.

Men from Minnesota and Indiana died in motorcycle crashes on Sunday.

The rally that draws hundreds of thousands of people to South Dakota's Black Hills each summer began Monday and runs through Sunday.

Not true that the South Dakota Dept. of Transpo outfits its highway trucks with snowplows to keep up with the carnage.

So many drunk bikers and so few deaths, amazing.

Ridden there many times and if you ride safe and sober you'll be fine. I've seen people too drunk to ride, but when you have a half milion rides in one place it's bound to happen. No worse than drunks in cars.
