Colorado GOP wants immigration law like Arizona's

DENVER (AP) - Colorado Republican lawmakers say they want to introduce legislation similar to Arizona's strict immigration law and they're getting pointers from legislators in Phoenix.

Colorado is the latest state to send a delegation of lawmakers to Arizona to talk about adopting a law similar to the one being challenged by the federal government.

Eleven members of Colorado's Republican Study Committee are meeting with Arizona legislators this week to get advice on the immigration law and how they're defending it in court. A federal judge blocked most of the controversial aspects of Arizona's law a day before it was going to take effect.

Tennessee and Utah are among the other states who sent delegations to Arizona.

Just let the illegals already here get legalized they are hard working people and trust me no american would stand out in the fields or the sun like a BRAVE mexican would. We are starting war and forgeting that we are all ONE, we are all HUMANS.MEXICANS COOK AND AMERICAN HAVE MICROWAVABLE FOOD. AMERICANS HAVE WASHERS/DRYERS MEXICANS DO IT BY HAND. MEXICANS WELCOME ANY RACE TO MEXICO AND the U.S IS STARTING TO CLOSE ITS DOORS. WHATS GOING ON AMERICA? WITHOUT MEXICANS YOU WOULDNT HAVE WHAT YOU HAVE NOW. ITS EASY TO SAY DEPORT THEM BECAUSE YOU HAVE NEVER SUFFERED THE WAY THEY HAVE. WHAT IF THE NEXT DAY YOU LOSE SOMEONE YOU REALLY LOVE AND NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN?? THATS HOW THEY FEEL WHEN THEIR FAMILIES GET SPLIT UP. THINK ABOUT IT YOU DONT OWN AMERICA, AMERICA OWNS YOU.

Good job Arizona. It is about time we take a stand too. Yes, some of them work the orchards and fields. Make those on welfare take those jobs and see how long we are supporting those deadbeats too.

If the US government will not deal with the illegal emigrants, then the states will do it. I want to support a law like the one Arizona did. It makes me feel good to be a citizen of Colorado, if we can get this through.

They need to make it easier for the hundreds of workers who work in the field's picking fruit, as well as harvesting vegetables grown here, to enter legally. If it wasn't for the harvesters, your tables would be lacking most of the food you eat folks. I agree to closing the borders to the drug dealers and people that just want to take advantage of social services in the states. I am totally against an illegal collecting Social Security. They are stealing services needed by people who are citizens of this country.

Good! We need it, as does the rest of the country. Break the law, get the boot!
