DENVER (AP) - NBC's “Meet The Press” will be featuring Colorado's U.S. Senate race with a face-off between incumbent Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet and Republican Ken Buck.

NBC says the candidates will meet on the show on Oct. 17, two weeks before the election. Bennet is seeking election for the first time after Gov. Bill Ritter appointed him to the seat previously held by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.

Buck is Weld County's District Attorney who has benefited from a strong tea party following.
