Chicago (AP) Barack Obama has urged hundreds of union activists in Chicago to back his presidential bid.
Obama also said John McCain is not the candidate to bring change after “the most anti-union administration in our memory.” he did not mention rival Hillary Clinton, who was in North Carolina touting her defense credentials.
Many military families were among the several hundred people in a Fayetteville crowd when Clinton discussed her plans to improve life for veterans and said she wants to bring troops home from Iraq “as responsibly and quickly as we can.”
