Washington (AP) There are some initial clues about what Barack Obama's national security team might look like.
He's meeting with a group today that includes top Clinton Administration officials and former lawmakers.
Obama plans to consult the working group members regularly between now and the November 4th election. Some members could wind up with high posts if he is elected.
Obama also meets today with nearly 40 retired admirals and generals. He'll discuss the state of the military and the challenges in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.
In a statement, Obama says the national security stakes could not be higher.
