McCain Tries To Put Some Distance Between Himself and Bush On Economy

Denver (AP) John McCain says he agrees with Barack Obama that the economy is staggering, and that Americans are hurting. But while Obama says McCain would do more of the same, McCain blames congress and the administration -- and has tried to distance himself from President Bush.

Speaking in Denver, he called Obama's economic plan expensive and unwise, and promised to veto “every single bill with wasteful spending.”
