GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Bernie Buescher has a new job.
Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced Tuesday he’s appointed Buescher as the Deputy Attorney General overseeing the Colorado Department of Law's State Services Section.
Prior to joining the Colorado Department of Law, Buescher served as Secretary of State from Dec. 2008 until Jan. 2011.
He was the elected state representative for Colorado House District 55 from 2005 until 2008.
A native of Grand Junction, Buescher replaces Monica M. Marquez. Buescher will begin work at the Office of the Attorney General on March 1.
