Early voting starts Monday

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) - Early voting starts Monday across Colorado and here in Mesa County.

There are some changes though, you won't be able to cast your vote at Mesa Mall but early voting hours will be extended from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all five early voting locations.

You can cast your ballot at the Old County Courthouse, Goodwill, the Fruita Police Department, Clifton Community Center, or the Mesa County Fairgrounds.

Early voting goes through Oct. 29.

Come election day on Nov. 2, there will be 21 vote centers up and running.

If you want to vote by mail you have until Oct. 26 to request a ballot by mail or you can request one through a walk–in until Oct. 29.

Ballots can be dropped off at any DMV location or mailed back to the Elections Office.

    Where do you request a ballot by mail? Who would one call to request it?

      Go to the Old County Courthouse or call the Elections Division to request one.
