BOULDER, Colo. (AP) -- Barack Obama and Paul Ryan are headed back to Colorado after cancelling earlier appearances due to Superstorm Sandy.

The president will hold a rally Thursday evening at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Ryan will appear at a rally in Greeley around midday. There will be more than partisan differences at the two events. Ryan is slated to appear with country music star Lee Greenwood while Obama's rally features the Seattle band the Head and the Heart.

Both politicians were supposed to hold events in Colorado Tuesday but scrapped them due to the storm.

Colorado is seeing an avalanche of politicians in the final days before the election. Bill Clinton was in Denver Tuesday night. Romney and Vice President Joe Biden will be in the state Saturday.
