GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. (AP) -- Sen. Michael Bennet is setting off on a jobs tour on the Western Slope. His first stop Monday is a wind turbine plant in Grand Junction.

The Democratic senator plans to talk about the wind energy tax credit, which he says should be extended.

Later this week, Bennet has three agriculture visits scheduled. The senator plans to talk about conservation easements at a farm in Palisade, to talk about foreign workers at a corn farm in Olathe and to meet with farmers in Cortez to hear ideas about the next Farm Bill.

Bennet's Western Slope tour concludes Wednesday with a visit to a business in Durango.

It is not government's job, duty, or role to create jobs for anyone. Also, both Rs and Ds are mindless dolts who echo the higher-ups in the chain of command; if you think one is better than the other they have fooled you. Open your eyes and realize that they are both sending our great country down the toilet, people are just choosing the manner in which it is happening.

If Sen. Bennet is serious about creating jobs in The Peoples Republic of Mesa County, the best thing he could do for us is to retire immediately, if not sooner.

Jobs, was this his marching orders from the top. Because he doesn't do anything that the party doesn't dictate. Just another mindless dolt that was pushed through. He makes Howdy Doody look smart. Dahh

Just remember, this man voted yes for the unconstitutional fraud of Obummercare on December 24th, 2009. All it would have taken was one no vote to defeat the hideous travesty.
