Stars come to GJ to support Obama campaign

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Mesa County Democrats will be star-struck this weekend.

The Grand Junction Obama For America office will play host to a number of TV and movie stars as they drum up excitement for the president’s re-election campaign.

On Friday, Oct. 26, Amy Brenneman –- star of “Judging Amy” and “Private Practice” – will be at the OFA office at 5:45 p.m.

Then on Saturday, Oct. 27, Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Zachary Quinto (“Star Trek,” American Horror Story”), Laurence Fishburne (“The Matrix”) and Jennifer Westfeldt (“Kissing Jessica Stein”) will make a stop on their “Young Professionals” Tour of Colorado at 7 p.m.

The Grand Junction OFA headquarters is at 2454 Highway 6 & 50.
