DENVER (AP) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has endorsed Tom Tancredo, the American Constitution Party candidate for governor.
Palin urged voters Monday to support Tancredo, saying he will fight for lower taxes and smaller government.
The 2008 GOP vice-presidential nominee also said Tancredo will start growing the economy.
GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Dan Maes, a Tea Party favorite, said Palin is becoming more and more part of the establishment. Maes said Palin waited until the day before the election to improve her odds of picking a winner.
In a KHOW radio interview, Maes said he couldn't see where “the courage or integrity is” in Palin's endorsement.
Republican Sen. Candidate Ken Buck is another Colorado Tea Party favorite who failed to win Palin's backing.
