Denver (AP) A state legislator who wants to set regulations for how energy companies dispose of liquid waste after drilling for natural gas will have to wait another year to introduce a bill targeting the industry.

Grand Junction Democratic Rep. Bernie Buescher says he requested to introduce a bill that would force energy companies to put wastewater pits far away from homes and
ensure groundwater is not contaminated.
