Ritter Wants Oil Tax Breaks to Go to Scholarships

Denver (AP) Gov. Bill Ritter wants voters to end a property tax break for the oil and gas industry and instead use the money to finance college scholarships.

Ritter yesterday said the proposed ballot measure could provide scholarships for more than two-thirds of Colorado students.
