Creede, Colo. (AP) The bodies of two men last seen snowboarding at Wolf Creek Ski Resort in January have been found.

The Mineral County Sheriff and Coroner in a statement said a helicopter Monday found and removed the bodies of 27-year-olds Michael George and Kyle Kerschen, both of Albuquerque, N.M.

Autopsies have not yet been performed.

It was unclear whether their bodies were found within ski resort boundaries. Messages for Mineral County Sheriff Fred Hosselkus and The ski resort were not immediately returned.

George and Kerschen went missing Jan. 5 near the resort about 170 miles southwest of Denver. An extensive search on the snow covered slopes was called off after six days.
