Suspect Arrested In Semi-Homeless Man's Death

Loveland, Colo. (AP) Police have arrested a suspect in the slaying of a Loveland man who had a home but sometimes slept in fields.

Sander “Sandy” Hansen was found dead in an irrigation ditch in Loveland last may. The coroner said the 48-year-old man drowned and was stabbed in the abdomen.

Police have arrested 32-year-old Daniel Monacelli for investigation of second-degree murder and first-degree assault in Hansen's death.

The arrest caps a 13-month investigation.
