Golden, Colo. (AP) Jurors convicted a former teacher on charges that he sexually assaulted a female student who hac approached him for advice on relationships.
The verdict against 33-year-old William Robert Eisenman came Tuesday after an hour of deliberations in Jefferson County. Prosecutors say Eisenman sexually assaulted the 16-year-old student in his car, hotels and at his home for two months in 2007.
Prosecutors say the former Evergreen High School Band and Orchestra Teacher told the student she should dress more provocatively to attract classmates and took her to a hotel so she could model clothing for him.
Eisenman was taken into custody after his conviction of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and providing alcohol to a minor. His bond is set at $100,000. He will be sentenced august 19.
