New Program to Help Victims of Crime

Under a new program, crime victims in Mesa County will now be able to get an automatic notification if an inmate gets out of jail.

Victim Information and Notification Everyday, or VINE, is a nationwide tracking system for inmates who are released, escape, or are transferred from jail.

The county sheriff's of Colorado got funding to start the program here in Mesa County. To sign–up for the notification system, just click here
