Boulder, Colo. (AP) Astronauts preparing for a repair mission to the Hubble space telescope plan to visit Ball Aerospace on Friday.
The Boulder company built two instruments that the astronauts will install on the telescope.
The astronauts have some time on their hands because NASA has pushed back the Hubble repair flight until at least may 2009. The mission was once deemed too risky to attempt. But the current NASA chief decided it was worth fixing the telescope so it could keep taking pictures of space through 2013.
The Space Shuttle Endeavour was scheduled to take off Friday evening for a delivery mission to the international space station.
