Greeley Mayor Says $3 Obama Bill is “Satire”

Greeley, Colo. (AP) Greeley Mayor Ed Clark says he's apologized for showing a student at a charter school where he works a $3 bill showing president-elect Barack Obama in a Middle Eastern Headdress.

Clark says the bill was meant as political satire.

A former police officer and head of security a the University Schools Charter School in Greeley, Clark was elected last year partly because of his anti-illegal immigration stance.

The age of the student he showed the bill to is unclear. University Schools offers classes from kindergarten to high school.

Clark reportedly showed the bill to the girl Nov. 14, who later showed it to classmates.
