Greener Ski Resorts


Local area ski resorts receive grades on their efforts to go green.

This according to a recent survey by the ski area citizens coalition. Many of the area resorts are making efforts to reduce energy consumption and install green energy technologies.

The survey says 15 of the 20 ski resorts evaluated received higher scores than they did during last years survey.

The survey gives a letter grade to evaluate a resorts green efforts.
Powderhorn Resort ranked fifth overall with a grade of an "A". Aspen Mountain scored the highest.
