New Panel Hopes to Draw Filmmakers to S. Colorado

Alamosa, Colo. (AP) A southern Colorado group has formed a commission in hopes of attracting more filmmakers to the region.

Alamosa real estate agent Bill Werner is heading up the southern Colorado film commission. The group is affiliated with the Colorado Film Commission.

The southern Colorado commission is developing a data base of photos of potential movie locations in the San Luis Valley, which will be added to the Colorado film commission web site.

The southern Colorado commission also plans to send a representative at the Association of Film Commissioners locations trade show.
