Colorado Springs, Colo. (AP) A Colorado Springs post office is back open after being evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious bag outside the building.
A police bomb squad was called in to investigate after a customer spotted the package was found at the Montebello Drive Postal Facility about 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
The building and surrounding streets were reopened about 11:30 a.m. After authorities determined there was no threat.
Police lt. Brian Ritz said the bag was probably left by mistake, and that nothing inside identified the owner.
