A Denver woman is in custody on accusations of trying to have her ex–husband, a Pitkin County prosecutor, killed so she could have full custody of their daughter.
Elinor Dvir, 36, was arrested Sunday and is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Jefferson County jail.
Court records allege that on Saturday, Dvir offered $2,000 to an under cover police officer posing as a hit man to get him to kill her ex–husband, Richard Nedlin.
Nedlin is a deputy district attorney who lives and works in Aspen.
Dvir will be back in court on Thursday.
