Snake recovered after truck crashes into residence
Denver (AP) - A man's pet boa constrictor has been recovered after a pickup truck plowed through his town house in the north Denver suburb of Northglenn.
Authorities say the 5-foot-long snake was stretched out on a pool table when the truck sped up an embankment, went airborne and crashed through the side of the house and into the living room
Monday. The pool table was destroyed.
North Metro fire rescue says the driver apparently suffered a medical emergency but was not seriously injured. His name wasn't released.
The resident of the town house, Mike Prasad, says he and his girlfriend and another friend had just stepped outside when they saw the truck barreling toward the home.
Prasad says the snake disappeared after the crash but emerged more than an hour later. He says it was rattled but apparently unhurt.
