The State Treasury kicked off its 2009 Great Colorado Payback yesterday. Giving state residents the chance to claim bank accounts, stock certificates, and other things they have lost or forgotten about.

Officials say this will be a record year for returning funds to citizens.
Eighty thousand names, the owners of more than $50 million in lost and forgotten property, will be added to the database that now contains more than one million names.

Officials say they're on pace to return close to $30 million to citizens this year.

Officials want remind residents there is no charge for the service and no time limit to file a claim.
