A sink hole on I-70 may delay your commute Thursday.

Crews are repairing the road in between Rulson and Rifle and they have closed a six mile stretch on the east bound side of the interstate.

Drivers are being redirected to US 6 as an alternate route. The sinkhole is 6 feet in diameter and 8 inches deep. C-dot says they expect to re-open the road this afternoon, but there is a chance it could be closed the whole day.

We have not been told what caused the sinkhole but crews were first called out to the area around 7:30 Wednesday night.
