There will be fewer deer and elk hunting licenses this year.
The Division of Wildlife met in Grand Junction today to talk about how many they will be issuing.
Wildlife officials say they will offer about 10 percent fewer deer and seven percent fewer elk licenses because of a drop in populations for both animals.
They are, however, adding two new licenses for hunting moose on the Grand Mesa.
For more information on how to get a license or what's available, contact the local Division of Wildlife office.
