A Montrose woman is behind bars after police say she intentionally ran down her husband with her car.
Montrose Police say around 7 a.m. Wednesday 32-year-old Sharon Gibson hit her husband as he was standing on a sidewalk.
Gibson's husband told police he was walking toward the downtown area when he saw a blinker and the next thing he knew he'd been hit by a car. He suffered only minor injuries.
Gibson was arrested on suspicion of second–degree assault, domestic violence, reckless driving and child abuse. Police say her two children were in the car with her at the time of the incident.
Gibson is being held without bond.
