Authorities say they have suspended a search for the man who fell out of his raft over the weekend on the Colorado River.

Grand County Search and Rescue Teams have been searching for 42–year–old Eric Kophs of Aurora since Saturday.

Searchers say Kophs was rafting with a friend when he fell out of the raft near Radium.

He was using the oars of the raft when he fell out.

Authorities say Kophs had rafted the river many times. According to Denver media, he was also a Cherry Creek school administrator and a former principal.
